Carriage of Diving Air Cylinders

Any receptacle which has previously contained Dangerous Goods, even oxygen / compressed air, is regarded as Dangerous Goods until it has been certified as clean or gas free as dictated by the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code).
Fully charged diving air cylinders can be shipped in the owners vehicle under the appropriate provisions of the IMDG Code on conventional services as a compressed gas with the appropriate documentation ( for further information please contact our freight operations office 01624 645620)
On fast craft services all dangerous goods are prohibited but diving cylinders may be carried with valves fully open to and therefore gas and pressure free. Diving cylinders may be subject to inspection by a member of the ships crew.
Diving cylinders may not be taken as hold or hand baggage by foot passengers.
