2012 Diving Breaks in the Isle of Man for both individuals and groups of divers.
Whilst we may be the leading ferry inclusive tour operator to the Isle of Man we recognise that you will need the services of qualified people who know the best places to dive and who offer a full range of services associated with diving. Two companies that offer a full range of courses and who have tanks and other equipment for hire are Discover Diving orMann Scuba Divers , check their website for more information:
Carriage of Diving Air Cylinders
Any receptacle which has previously contained Dangerous Goods, even oxygen / compressed air, is regarded as Dangerous Goods until it has been certified as clean or gas free as dictated by the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code). Fully charged diving air cylinders can be shipped in the owners vehicle under the appropriate provisions of the IMDG Code on conventional services as a compressed gas with the appropriate documentation ( for further information please contact our freight operations office 01624 645620) On fast craft services all dangerous goods are prohibited but diving cylinders may be carried with valves fully open to and therefore gas and pressure free. Diving cylinders may be subject to inspection by a member of the ships crew. Diving cylinders may not be taken as hold or hand baggage by foot passengers.
Here is a Pdf version of the Dangerous Goods Note which you should complete and return prior to travel.
